Event Details
Where is Brainhack DC? Brainhack DC 2026 is taking place at Georgetown University's Capitol Campus located at 111 Massachusetts Ave NW, Washington, DC 20001. There will be a registration table near the front entrance to check you in before proceeding to the room (LL201).
How do I get to the event location? Information about the location (Georgetown University Capitol Campus), directions and parking can be found here. We recommend taking public transportation if possible (it is a short walk from both the Union Station and Judiciary Square stops on the Red Line). There is no onsite parking but there are several garages nearby and limited metered parking available around the Capitol Campus.
Where is the social? The social event will be held on April 16th at 5:30pm at Hamilton's Bar & Grill. It is a 12 minute walk from Georgetown Capitol Campus and we will be walking down together or feel free to meet us there. The reservation is under BrainHack DC. Note: Nothing is provided. Attendees must pay for all their own food and drinks.
Do I need to bring any supplies or install any software beforehand? Please remember to bring your own laptop and charger to this event. Software will vary by workshop and project, so be sure to join the Slack for updates regarding any required software.
What is the event Code of Conduct? All participants agree to adhere to the Brainhack Code of Conduct. The principles of inclusivity and safety outlined in this Code of Conduct are integral to the Brainhack culture/community, so we take them very seriously. Please use this form to anonymously report any violation of our code of conduct.
How can I get in contact with the event organizers or other attendees? We are using Slack for all communications related to Brainhack DC. Introduce yourself, join or create a channel to discuss different topics in neuroscience or to discuss items relevant to your project. We will be using the free version so note that older messages will be automatically deleted after 90 days.
